Hvannabrekka

A small camp ground situated close to the rift Hvannagjá. There are no toilets but sinks and cold water. Visitors camping there have to use the facilities at the Information Center or Nyrðri-Leirar.

The rift behind the camping area is scenic and well suited for hiking.

The camp ground is only for tents and cars are not allowed.
