Vatnskot

A small camp ground down by lake Þingvallavatn. There are toilets, sinks and cold water.

From Vatnskot there are several interesting trails, for example one leading to the Skógarkot abandoned farm site, as well as trails along the banks of the lake.

The camp ground is for tents, small caravans and campers.  Cars should be parked in the designated parking area, except when used for driving trailers in and out of the camp site.  Please take care not to block the access points to the camp ground with cars or tents.
