Information center

The Information Center in Þingvellir National Park is at Leirar, close to the camping grounds. It is open from 1. May until the 30.September from 09:00-16:00.

At the Information Center visitors can get all general information about the National Park, its nature and history. Also available are maps of the park with marked trails. Information about other places of interest in the area and the condition of roads is also available.

At the Information Center there is a cafeteria and a bookstore. The cafeteria is open from 1.April until the 31.October and at weekends in the winter time.
