The Þingvellir Committee has just recently approved new rules on filming and photography within the national park
.
In principle photography and filming are permitted within the National Park.
Photography or filming in the National Park for commercial purposes is, however, subject to the permission of the Þingvellir Committee or of the Director of the National Park on the committee’s behalf.
A written application shall be made to the offices of the Þingvellir Committee. The application and other information can be found here.
