Road 365 to Laugarvatn has opened after the normal winter closure but has 5 tonn weight limits. It significantly shortens the tour for travellers wanting to visit Thingvellir, Geysir and Gullfoss.

Part of the road has a gravel surface.  It is suitable for all types of cars. 

Road 52 north from Thingvellir across Kaldidalur is still closed.
