Due to repair our restroom at P5 is closed.
No Water and Campsite Closed
From 17:00 today and until late evening we have to have our campsite closed as there will not be any running water.

Women´s strike 24. October
On Friday, October 24, 2025, due to women´s strike in Iceland some delays and disruption might be noted in the services of the park. The visitor centre will be open as usual but the info desk at the campsite will be closed from 1 PM.
The reason is a national call for strike of women and non-binary people who are encouraged to stop working commemorating the famous women´s strike of 24.October 1975

End of Summer Staff Celebratation – Closed early
As we celebrate and say farewel to some of our summer colleagues we will close a bit early next Friday, August 29.
